Soft Tissue

This involves soft tissue or massage techniques that aim to reduce the tissue tension, and remove resistance to change, preparing the body for changes within the treatment.

Dry Needling

Uses disposable filiform needles to reduce muscle tension, release tension and promote blood flow to improve range of motion.

Uses disposable filiform needles to reduce muscle tension, release tension and promote blood flow and endorphins to improve range of motion.

Joint Articulation

This involves gentle movement of joints that may be restricted. This technique is a gentle technique that encourages blood flow to the restricted area.

No referral is required to visit an Osteopath. Please bring any imaging results you may have as this will assist in the diagnosis.

Please bring loose clothing so as to be able to access areas that are required. You will be given a gown, but please wear tights or shorts that will make stretching and soft tissue accessible. If you would prefer to remain clothed, that is totally fine.

All initial and follow up appointments are 40 mins.

KBOA, Kingscliff Beach Osteopathy and Acupuncture, is a hands on clinic.

Following an assessment and diagnosis, you will be treated with the range of techniques to which you consent and are comfortable with.

Following treatment you will be given some exercises and advice on how to improve post treatment.

It is a very hard question to give an accurate answer for.

It depends on what you present with, whether it is acute or chronic, and how long you have had it.

Please rest assured that I will do the best that I can whenever I see you.

All initial and follow up appointments are $100.

If you could please arrive 5 minutes before your treatment time, that would be helpful so as to complete the information and consent form prior to treatment.

OSTEOPATH & ACUPUNCTURIST

Dr. Gino Lo Pilato

Gino is uniquely both an Osteopath and Acupuncturist, has been in practice for the past 20 years, having graduated in 2003.  Gino teaches Dry Needling Courses to other practitioners and has also tutored at University in the wet labs. He is now excited to be practicing and treating the local community of Kingscliff and Tweed.  Gino treats all types of musculoskeletal conditions as well as more systemic conditions such as headaches.  Techniques that can be used in clinic will vary but include, soft tissue, dry needling, acupuncture, joint articulation, joint mobilisation, stretching and exercises. He looks forward to doing his best to help you out.
